    • Uniform diameter of plain and chromic surgical catgut sutures allows for an even absorption rate
    • Chromic catgut is chromicised before it is spun to maintain the even absorption rate
    • Optimal tensile strength and in vivo performance
    • Manufactured from regulatory approved intestinal serosa of cattle
    • Absorption through enzyme digestion:
    • Plain surgical catgut sutures, 7 to 10 days
    • Chromic surgical catgut sutures, 20 to 40 days
    • Available in sterile pre-cut lengths of various sizes
    • Sutures made with 300 series stainless steel
    • Up to five-year shelf life
